Oakdale makes leadership appointments

Oakdale Care Group has announced two leadership appointments in preparation for its imminent expansion.

Rachel Cadd has been named Home Manager of Timken Grange in Duston, Northampton and Ann-Marie Baker joins the Head Office team as Group Admissions Manager.

Oakdale Co-Founder and CEO, Andrew Long said, “Rachel and Ann-Marie embody the ethos and cultural values we are looking for at Oakdale: they are hard working, passionate and highly professional individuals who have the residents’ interest first and foremost.

“They reflect Oakdale’s forward thinking approach and attention to individual care. We are delighted to have them both join us at this key stage in our development , with two more care homes to open in the next six months at Northampton and Hertford.”

Rachel has worked previously in the sector at Olympus Care Services, Northampton County Council and Greensleeves, where she led her home to a Good CQC rating. Ann-Marie joins Oakdale from a similar position at Gracewell Care.

Co Founder and Director Chris Babington added: “Our first care home, Kingfisher Court at Sutton-in-Ashfield is exceeding our planned expectations and is proving that our business model based on an all-inclusive fee structure and paying all staff on a salary is working extremely well.”

Timken Grange in Duston is due to open in January 2018 with Layston Grove in Buntingford shortly after.
