Oakdale Care Group is to open its first luxury care home in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire in April.
Kingfisher Court, which will create 50 jobs, will provide residential and dementia care for 66 residents in en suite rooms.
Co-founder of Oakdale Care Group, Chris Babington, said: “We are really keen to promote care as a positive career choice and hope to see the people who come to work at Kingfisher Court progress within their careers by providing great care to the people who will live with us.”
Home manager Paul Quirk added: “It is really exciting to set up and manage a new home with responsibility for recruiting a full team of new staff. Myself, Chris and everyone at Oakdale are incredibly passionate about care and I am certain we will find the right people to make Kingfisher Court a home from home for the people who live with us and, also a key part of the local community.”
The specialist designed and purpose built home has been built by LNT Care Developments.
The home will feature a cinema room, English Tea Room, library and landscaped gardens.
Oakdale was founded by a small group of individual investors/director including former LNT executive Andrew Long.
