Former Finance Director Tracey Stakes has taken up her new role as CEO of Belong.
The shift in senior management also sees former Operations Director Tracy Paine promoted to Deputy Chief Executive following the retirement of Nick Dykes.
Chris Hughes becomes the retirement village specialist’s Chief Financial Officer.
Tracey said: “This a really exciting time for the organisation, following our rebranding to Belong and exclusive focus on developing our pioneering village services. I look forward to focusing on leading the new executive team as we embark on the next stages of our expansion plans to open a number of new villages across the North West and beyond.”
She has held the role of Finance Director since joining Belong in 1997, while Tracy was appointed Operations Director in 2003.
Chris has been supporting the expansion of Belong villages since joining the provider in 2000.
Belong currently has six care villages in operation in Atherton, Crewe, Didsbury, Macclesfield, Warrington and Wigan, with two further villages under construction in Chester and Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The villages provide a range of care, housing and support options for older people, as well as extensive amenities in the village centre. Belong specialises in supporting people with dementia, providing 24-hour care in extended family sized households, with modern open plan layouts specially designed around the needs of people with dementia.
Each village also offers a choice of independent living in a Belong apartment located within the village complex. As a registered domiciliary provider, the organisation is additionally able to support people in their own home, through its Belong at Home service.
