Mobile Care Monitoring improves care

Person centred software

Mobile Care Monitoring by Person Centred Software has been proven by care providers to reduce the burden of paperwork, reduce their costs and increase their income.

Care providers and CQC both recognise that it is also being shown to improve the quality of care.

Simple improvements include alerting staff to important actions that should not be missed, and identifying when service users are at risk of dehydration or pressure sores. In addition, the automated measurement of the effectiveness of care plans based on the care provided allows care planners to ensure that the care plan meets each person’s individual needs.

We are now receiving evidence of an additional improvement for service users with dementia. Mobile Care Monitoring includes a Relatives Gateway that can enable a care provider to give family and friends access to share photos and messages with the care provider and the service user.

Relatives have used the Gateway to send photos when on holiday or family outings, and these pictures are helping service users with dementia remember their family, and enjoy their experiences.

Mobile Care Monitoring achieves all these benefits because of its unique, easy to use, icon based, totally person centred, fully mobile, evidence of care applications.

This month sees a new application launched aimed specifically at Activity Coordinators, allowing group activities to be easily planned, highlighting if people are not engaging in activities, and enabling photos of service users enjoying activities to be shared with families.

Mobile Care Monitoring is an integrated care planning and evidence of care system. For more information contact Person Centred Software on 01483 604108, email care@personcentredsoftware.com, or visit www.personcentredsoftware.com
