LifeCare Residences appoints general manager

Carolyn Henderson has been appointed general manager of LifeCare Residences’ Battersea Place retirement village.

Carolyn joins from The Royal Over-Seas League, a private members’ club in Mayfair, London and Edinburgh, where she was director of operations.

“Battersea Place is a best-in-class retirement community and the first of its kind for London. I’m delighted to be joining this thriving company, which has such an exceptional track record for innovation and ambition for the future,” Carolyn said.

“I look forward to harnessing my many years of experience operating across the 5* luxury hospitality sector, and to getting to know all of the Battersea Place residents.”

Prior to joining the Royal Over-Seas League, Carolyn served as general manager of Warren House – a wedding, conference and event venue in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey.

Carolyn also has over a decade of experience working across the hospitality sector, including a period at the iconic Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Great Milton, Oxfordshire.

As general manager at Battersea Place, she will be responsible for the day to day operations, ensuring a first-rate level of service for all residents, as well as maintaining and enhancing the company’s person-centred approach to care.
