Sue Shaw has been appointed Home Manager of the soon to open Mountview Care Home in Rothley, Leicestershire.
The home, which will provide residential and dementia care for 66 residents, is scheduled to open in November.
Sue, who has previously worked for Bupa and brighterkind, said: “I am thrilled to be joining Mountview at this significant time meaning I am involved right from the start. The building is on track and looking fantastic already – it is light, bright and spacious with some great social areas and the view over Rothley is breathtaking. The next piece in the puzzle is to recruit the very best care team and we will have everything in place to make Mountview a great place to live and work.”
Paul Farmer, Managing Director of Ideal Carehomes, added: “Sue is everything we look for in a Home Manager – she is caring, compassionate and prides herself on making a real difference to her residents and staff. It is reassuring to know that Mountview will be in such capable hands when it opens in November.”
Mountview will be the 16th home built by LNT Care Developments for Ideal Carehomes.
The state-of-the-art home will have a coffee shop, cinema room, hair salon and landscaped gardens for residents and their visitors to enjoy as well as a full and varied programme of activities and trips and innovative care technology, all for an all-inclusive price.
