Luke Owens has been appointed manager of Hill Care Group’s Broadacres Care Home in Rotherham.
The career carer, who studied nursing at university, took his previous home from Requires Improvement to Good before joining the group.
“I want the community to see first-hand the passion and commitment we have at Broadacres,” Luke said.
“Anyone interested in learning more about the home and the support we provide to those requiring care is welcome to pop in when they’re in the area.
“If they’re unable to visit us, I am more than happy to arrange to see them at a convenient time, so I can answer any of their questions.
“I truly believe the key to caring for elderly people is making sure they receive personalised support from a team of highly trained and dedicated staff that cares for them on a round-the-clock basis.
“At Broadacres Care Home, we are committed to treating each of our residents as individuals, taking the time to get to know them and developing a personal care plan, so we can cater for their individual needs.
“We provide long term, short-stay and respite care to people with residential or residential dementia needs. We also provide rehabilitation, palliative and end of life care.”
Broadacres is a former Four Seasons home which was rated Good following its last inspection by the CQC in November 2017.
