Hull-based care operator Hica Group has announced the restructuring of its operational management team.
The changes follow a review by operations director Terry Peel and CEO Penni Brown designed to best direct support to all services and managers across the group.
The moves see Kay Ling internally seconded as regional director for the south and west region. Kay will take up direct line management and support of The Lodge care home in Lancashire along with her current home portfolio.
Heidi Dugdale Dawes continues as regional director for the east and central areas as well as being group-wide safeguard lead.
Salma Keles is internally seconded as operations manager for Homecare across the group. She will support Terry in the continued shaping of the Homecare business and extra care provision across the group.
Terry said: “I am extremely excited about this core operational team being on board and am confident we have the appropriate skill mix, knowledge base and expertise that we will be able to support all staff further in achieving our key operational objectives.”
Penni added: “These appointments reflect the ongoing review of our support services and management structure. We want to build on our success but also help us meet new challenges facing the care sector.”
The Hica Group is a not for profit organisation that operates an established portfolio of 20 residential care homes, 15 of which are for older people and five for people with a learning disability, along with two retirement villages.
