“We are delighted that Ty Porth has joined the Hallmark family of homes and we look forward to getting to know the residents, team members, friends and relatives in the coming months.”

Martin Gould, Head of Brokerage for Care at Christie & Co, added: “Ty Porth was marketed via a confidential campaign and received significant interest from a variety of operators. We’re delighted Hallmark Care Homes have acquired the business, further expanding their presence in Wales where they have been operating for 20 years. The sale reflects the demand in Wales for care homes with strong occupancy levels that serve the local community well. We wish Hallmark all the best with their new acquisition.”

Hallmark provides residential, nursing and dementia care to over 1,000 people across England and South Wales.
