A £12m Hadrian Healthcare luxury care home in Harrogate is nearing completion.

The Manor House, which will provide 87 large private suites for residential, dementia and respite care, is scheduled to open its doors in September.

Home manager Stephanie Foulds, who previously commissioned and managed Hadrian Healthcare Group’s Oulton Manor care home, which opened in 2016, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming our first residents and becoming an active part of the community.

“We are already recruiting a great staff team to provide the highest quality of individualised and compassionate care, to enable each of our residents to enjoy life to the full.”

The home, which will create around 100 full and part time jobs, will include a hair and beauty salon, wellness lodge with hydrotherapy pool and physiotherapist, landscaped gardens, bowling green, concierge and chauffer service, library, sweet shop, restaurant and bistro, and tearoom.

Jas Gill, managing director of Hadrian Healthcare Group, said: “I am really pleased with progress being made and that Stephanie has started to form the team. I’m also pleasantly surprised at the level of interest already at this stage.

“Stephanie has excellent experience and commissioned and managed Oulton Manor very successfully. We’re delighted she is leading the team at The Manor House Harrogate, which will be our seventh Manor House care home.”
