CQC says nursing home not “consistently safe”

The CQC has said a nursing home near Sleaford in Lincolnshire is not “consistently safe” following an inspection last month.

Regulators delivered a critical report following an inspection of Martin Hall Nursing Home on 30 July, the Lincolnshire Echo reports.

Inspectors found medicines were not administered and managed safely with residents not receiving their pills when required.

The inspectors also questioned the consistent quality of leadership at the home, adding systems were not in place to assess and monitor the level of service.

Martin Hall provides accommodation for up to 40 people who require personal and nursing care, including those who have mental and physical health needs and people living with dementia.
