Country Court Care is continuing to expand with the construction of two luxury homes.
Lakeview Lodge in Bletchley near Milton Keynes and Tallington Lodge Care Home in Tallington, Lincolnshire are part of a £40m deal with Cheyne Capital Management for the acquisition and development of eight new assets.
Country Court managing director Alykhan Kachra told Care Home Professional: “The last 12 months has been an extremely exciting phase of growth for Country Court Care.
“We have seen our business strategy of acquiring failing homes transform into developing purpose built care facilities in high demand areas, as well as investing in our existing portfolio.
“Country Court Care is always striving to be at the forefront of the sector, leading the way not only in terms of care quality levels, but also offering functional yet luxury environments in which it is offered.
“We want to exceed the needs of the new generations, and build developments that will remain state-of-the-art for the next 20 years. We’re also delighted that we are also able to offer new employment opportunities in our operational areas, and aid in stimulating the local economies.”
Lakeside is the third in a four home development project with LNT Construction, following Ferrars Hall in Huntingdon in June 2016, and Lostock Lodge Care Home in January 2017. The final build is Oakview Lodge in Welwyn Garden City, which is due to be completed in October 2017.
The three floor home will include 66 en-suite bedrooms (with five being built for couples), a hair salon, a café/bistro, a relaxation spa, a shop, a cinema room, a family room and numerous lounges/communal areas.
Tallington will be built next to Country Court’s Tallington Rest Home, which was acquired in 2008.
This home will include 30 en-suite bedrooms, a hair salon, a café/bistro, a piano lounge, a library and numerous communal lounges.
