Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has been appointed to sell Bank House care home in Newport, Shropshire.
Currently registered ‘good’ by the CQC, the home is registered for 20 adults over the age of 65.
Tamara Skipworth, senior business agent at Christie & Co, who is handling the sale, said: “Bank House presents an experienced operator or first-time buyer with a fantastic opportunity to become an owner operator.
“Across the care market this year we have noticed a considerable focus on quality. In the Midlands region this is certainly the case as we see more care homes being brought to market. Bank House offers the scope for a new buyer to make their own mark on the base of an already established business.”
Bank House is an early Victorian detached property with a two storey modern extension to the rear accommodating 14 single and three twin rooms, of which 15 have en suite facilities.
It provides two resident lounges as well as a separate dining area, catering kitchen and an enclosed courtyard garden with raised beds so residents can easily help with planting.
The current owner is retiring from the care sector in order to pursue another business venture.
