Castleoak aims to convert empty Southampton warehouse into 80-bed care home

Castleoak has submitted plans to Eastleigh Borough Council to convert an empty warehouse on the outskirts of Southampton into an 80-bed care home.

Strutt and Parker, the planning agent that submitted the application said that the scheme will provide a much-needed facility in the local area for older people with heavily dependent nursing and dementia needs and will be designed and built to Castleoak’s demanding specifications.

The plan shows a three-storey building, which will be located on Mansbridge Road, near Townhill Park.

The home would provide 24-hour care and en-suite bathrooms for all residents.

      Hi Sandra,
Thank you for your email. You are best applying directly to the care provider when that is made known.
