Care home operator Anchor, which boasts more than 1,000 properties across the UK, is set to bolster its retirement village portfolio this summer with the unveiling of a major development in Fleet, Hampshire.
The company is on schedule to open 72 luxurious independent retirement living apartments at Keble Court in Church Crookham, with the site comprising both one and two bed units.
Facilities will include a café, several lounges, hair and beauty salon with treatment rooms, and landscaped gardens.
Every feature of Keble Court has been designed to meet the specific needs of older people who want to continue to live life to the full, according to the company.
Bouygues UK is the firm constructing Keble Court and, speaking at the end of last year when the first roof tile was placed on apartments, regional construction director, Peter Doherty, said: “We’re delighted to be Anchor’s construction partner, working together to deliver these aspirational retirement apartments, which are in an exclusive location and will significantly improve the choice of housing for people aged over 55 in the area.”
