Badgemaster, which creates personalised badges for staff throughout the health, care and hospitality industries, won three highly commended awards at last week’s Professional Clothing Awards
The company was commended in the best IT innovation and website, made in the UK, and best manufacturer/distributer categories.
Badgemaster co-founder and managing director, John Bancroft, MBE, was joined on stage by his team to collect the awards from Olympic swimming legend and TV presenter Sharron Davies, where he thanked his customers and colleagues for the company’s success.
“To receive these awards is a great honour – for our team, our clients, and for the local community in Nottinghamshire. To be globally recognised for our achievements is one of the great landmarks in our journey to deliver unparalleled products and service for our customers,” he said.
Badgemaster was recognised in the IT Innovation and website category following the launch of its new site earlier this year that allows customers to design personalised badges and order them online. The site generates around 200 orders a day, the company says.
That personalised service would not be possible without the company’s UK manufacturing, which was recognised in the Made in the UK award category. The business is particularly proud of its workforce of over 100 people in the UK, many of which have been employed from the local ex-mining community in the Nottinghamshire area.
The third award category, Best Manufacturer/Distributer, was earned thanks to Badgemaster’s reusable name badge, Instabadge, which was recognised for its quality and customer service benefits. It enables customers to create bespoke, professionally designed badges within their own premises, the company explains.
