Aura Care Living has been honoured at this year’s Knight Frank Luxury Care Home Awards.
The recognition follows the opening of the Gloucestershire based company’s first care home, Kings Lodge in Camberley, Surrey, in May (see Aura Care Living aims to redefine luxury care).
Marketing Director of Aura Care Living Peter Lloyd said: “We are only really in our first year, so recognition like this at such an early stage means the world to us. We are incredibly proud of Kings Lodge and what we have created for our residents.
“Kings Lodge has pledges, pillars and promises that we make to both our residents and to our staff. We understand that happy, well-trained and skilled staff deliver better care and make for a much more conducive environment.
“Without doubt, residents that are empowered to make more decisions about their own life, the place they live and how their care home is run will have a much more positive experience.”
Kings Lodge consists of 64 individually-designed rooms providing residential, residential dementia and respite care.
Facilities include a bar, cinema, retreat spa room, hair salon and lounges. The home also provides 15 acres of woodland for residents and their families to explore.
Aura Care Living is also building a large retirement village and care home in Cirencester in the Cotswolds with the help of investment group, Octopus Healthcare.
