Apetito attracted 250 key customers to its annual Leadership Forum this month to discuss how its stated commitment to great food, enhancing health and well-being, passionate service and ethical and sustainable practises, can help care home owners.
Paul Freeston, CEO of apetito, told delegates that 2015 has been a successful year for both innovation and growth for the company, and pressed for business leaders to work together with suppliers to push for further improvement in 2016.
“This year’s forum was not only a chance to celebrate this success but to also work collaboratively with our people and prepare for the road ahead. We’ve worked hard to establish ourselves as the leading food producer for the sector and understand we need to continue to innovate and challenge ourselves to continue to remain at the forefront,” he said.
“Most importantly, the Leadership Forum strives to reinforce that sense of pride all our people have in working for a business that truly aims to make a real difference to the lives of our customers and encourage our staff to excel in their specialised areas,” he added.
The forum hosted a farmers’ market that displayed a host of produce including British and Irish beef and lamb, 100% sustainable fish and a cheese warehouse.
There were also four workshops designed to show attendees the challenges that the health and social care sector face on a daily basis and to hear more about how this innovative company is making a real difference.
